How You Can Help:
1. FOSTER some guinea pigs in your home!
Rescued guinea pigs benefit (as would you and your family!) from a temporary foster home in which to live and thrive while they are waiting for their forever homes.

2. VOLUNTEER!
* Cage Cleaning - Volunteers are needed on Saturdays from 9am - 5pm for cage cleaning. It's rewarding work, because you're helping to provide the guinea pigs at the Rescue with a clean, fresh cage each week!
* Illustrator / Graphic Designer - Enjoy the satisfaction of seeing your donated design imprinted on our fundraising t-shirts, mugs, etc. Or help with some HTML web design updates.
* Special Event Volunteers - Several times a year, we hold special events in the community. Volunteer to help plan, organize or staff one or several of these events, including the spring Hoe Down, the fall GuineaFest or one of our smaller humane pet store and rescue appearances.
3. TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS!
Your monetary donations are vital, and are used to purchase fresh vegetables, bedding, supplies, as well as needed veterinary care by a qualified guinea pig vet. It costs about $5,000 a month to care for the guinea pigs at the Rescue, and 100% of your donation goes to help the piggies, since we are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

*Payment to American Pet Diner - Make a payment directly to our account with American Pet Diner, which provides our hay and other food products. Ask for your payment to go to the "Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue" account.

We have both a black and white poster and a color poster with photos. Print out and hang our posters ANYWHERE you think would be useful to HELP promote the Rescue, such as:
- Vet's Office
- Schools
- Adoption-Friendly Pet Stores
- Churches
- Libraries
- Grocery and Drug Stores
- At Work
- Vegetarian Restaurants and Food Stores Veggie Pets for Veggie People!
...or anywhere else you can think of!!!
6. SHOPPING!
Yes, you can provide money to the Rescue just by shopping! We have numerous partnerships with stores and organizations who provide a percentage of each sale to the Rescue, but not an extra penny comes out of your pocket! See the HOME page for more ideas, or consider these:
