If you live outside the Dallas-Fort Worth area and are not able to travel to us for an adoption, please do an online search for a guinea pig rescue in your area first, before you buy from pet stores or breeders who are often in business just to make money and may not care properly for the piggies.

ADOPTABLES
Welcome to our photo gallery of NEUTERED MALE and FEMALE guinea pigs
who are looking for forever homes:

Please don't BUY while shelter pets are waiting.  ADOPT your guinea pig instead!

Healthy and Lovable.  Most guinea pigs at the rescue are given up just because children are tired of them, and they are perfectly healthy and well adjusted!
(Of course, if your heart is for
Pet has special needs special needs piggies, we have those too.)

About Guinea Pigs.  Guinea pigs live 5 to 7 years on average, so please consider this when adopting.  We have babies, young and senior guinea pigs available for adoption.

Guinea pigs are happiest not living alone, and they form a close bond with their cagemate. Please adopt a friend for the guinea pig you already have, or a lovable bonded pair from our wonderful choices at left. (Don't worry, caring for two or three guinea pigs in one cage is really no extra work.)

Before you bring your guinea pigs home, put together an inexpensive and properly-sized cage that's large enough for them. You'll want to provide safe bedding (aspen or Carefresh), Timothy hay and pellets, fresh raw vegetables, and clean water. Look out for POISONOUS veggies and bedding!  And just like us, your guinea pigs may need to see the doctor sometimes.
