Guinea pigs live 5-7 years on average. Before you bring your piggies home, see our pages on putting together an inexpensive cage that's large enough for them, and buy toys for a play area. Remember to provide safe aspen or Carefresh type bedding, Timothy hay, pellets, and fresh vegetables. And just like us, your guinea pigs will also need to see the doctor sometimes.
